So I have to admit to being surprised at the level of debate and engagement with today’s summit. The market as a whole seems to be significantly behind Australia, which is in turn well behind the more developed EU and US markets. A new ad network turned DSP, Adz, made some announcements today, but I was rather underwhelmed when I visited their silte on the ipad during the address and it gave me a 404 error! Didn’t instill confidence. Julian Tol from Brandscreen and Phil from Ikon both gave a good account of themselves as did Mattheus from Google. Did I learn a lot today…no but i was certainly inspired, so watch this space (or maybe another space!)
